First time on SSC? Maybe you wanna read this.

Hey, first of all, thanks so much for coming. I’m Jerry (AKA evilpacman18)

I wanna point out that this blog isn’t here to critique music AT ALL. It’s here to suggest it and get your opinions on it. I’ll state my own opinion all the time (Vampire Weekend and King Crimson and OutKast are better than everything and Nirvana is horrifyingly bad) but don’t think that I assume mine is better than anyone else’s. This is why I don’t actually grade the albums.

I only guarantee the download links that I upload myself. If they’ve been removed, I really appreciate being notified (So far, I’ve had 2 or 3 uploads removed). I’ve known mediafire to give me albums with missing tracks or awful tags (I hate this, idk about you.) but I’ve never gotten a virus or anything very bad quality from it so don’t worry about the safety of the links that I provide that I didn’t upload myself. The worst thing that’s happened to me on there was one time I downloaded an album and all the tracks were titled as the song on the album but they were all actually Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley. Rickrolled on mediafire.

My goal is to have something for everyone by now. If you haven’t found anything you like, e-mail me or leave a comment on any post saying what you’re currently listening to and I’ll see if I can find you something you hopefully haven’t heard but definitely would like. This doesn’t apply if you want Grunge. I would also like to help you expand your taste in music just because I know how much more fun it is to listen to everything than just certain genres. Music is one thing I can connect with every single person I meet about because I like at least something they’ve listened to and I’m willing to take their suggestions and, of course, I love giving them my own and hearing what they think.

By the way, I started the blog with a partner (Logan). Some of the older album posts you might find will be by him which is why I sign at the bottom of each post. He hasn’t been around in ages but he still has access to the profile to post new stuff if he ever feels like it.

Anyway, I hope you like what you see and keep coming back.

I’m curious to see if you can review “Metal Machine Music” by Lou Reed. It’s one of those albums where it’s either the best album of all-time, or the most piece of shit thing ever recorded on an album.

Otherwise, pretty kewl site you guys got going.
